Hi everyone, Just back from a week in Chicago ( my other business!) and happy to be back home in Carmel.  So it is time to catch up....

To accomodate our visitors who are attending the Good Sam Show, Smallsea will be expanding our days open to include Sunday, October 16, Monday October 17 and Tuesday October 18.   The hours are the same as the regular schedule 12:00 to 5:00.  Of course, we are always open Wednesdays through Saturdays.  We are planning a very special Sidewalk Sale during the Good Sam weekend and following week (Friday, October 14 through Saturday , October 22nd).  More information to be posted as we get closer.

Smallsea's special exhibit, Summer Fair, will close for the season on October 22nd to make way for Halloween at Town Hall and a wonderful exhibit for the Holiday Season.  If you have not had a chance to see Summer Fair, please come in or visit online in the "Online visit to Smallsea " section under "Town Hall".

The biggest Sidewalk Sale of the year is this Saturday, September 3rd from 12:00 to 5:00.

Hello and Happy Summer!  First of all, thank you to everyone who came to Smallsea's Sidewalk Sale and Open House on May 28th.  It was a great success and lots of fun!  We had a chance to visit with lots of our favorite visitors and met many new ones.   Mark your calendars for the next big sale, Saturday, September 3rd.

 
Springtime in Smallsea

 Hi, Spring is arriving now at Smallsea and the city will be in full bloom by the end of March.  There will also be a couple of new buildings.   A new farmhouse will be taking land on the O'Hara's farm and Luned Davis' shop for baby and children's clothes is moving into a much larger space.  Howard is just about finished building a wonderful 2 story structure.  The Davis shop will be on the ground floor and a tea merchant , Ballantyne's Tea Emporium, will be on the upper floor.  Work is finished on Town Hall and except for one stubborn light, it is super.

 It was hard for us to keep up with photos on the site in 2010 but we hope to get all of the new buildings from last year on the site by the end of January.  Let us know which is your favorite and why, and you will be entered to win a copy of the wonderful book, An Enchanted Dollshouse Wedding.  Either post a Feedback item or use the contact form by March 1st.  The winner will be announced in the March blog entry.  Good luck!

Happy New Year to all!  We were happy to see so many friends over the Holiday Season.  Smallsea had a record number of visitors come to see the metropolis. 

Hi everyone, Our Fall Fling was lots of fun and we enjoyed seeing so many of Smallsea's friends and meeting new visitors.  The Sidewalk Sale was a success with lots of folks finding perfect little items for their houses.  We will have another sale in the second quarter of 2011.  
Next on the agenda is a short vacation.  We will be closed October 20th through October 25th.
